It replicates the experience of MAG set-top box use through the provision of IPTV services within a portal-like environment similar to what you would find on MAG and Stalker Portal devices.

How to Activate the Free Trial
Step 1: Install the App
Begin by looking up “Smart STB” in your Smart TV’s application store. When found, download and install it.

After installation, you’ll need to activate the free trial. But first, it’s necessary to locate the Software MAC Address, which is used to register the app on the Smart STB website.

Step 2: Enable the Trial Period
Visit the Smart STB trial activation website page:

Press TRY & BUY, then MY LICENSE on the home page.

Step 3: Register on the Website
If you do not yet have an account, register here:
https://smart-stb.net

Once logged in, enter your Virtual MAC Address and Portal URL given by your IPTV service. You can now activate your 7-day free trial.

After activation, your order status will be Active. If you go back to the Device Info page on your Smart TV, you will be able to see the trial period and its end date.

Upgrading to a Paid License
If you have already registered and activated the app using your Software MAC address, it’s simple and quick to upgrade to a paid license.
Step 1: Log in to the Smart STB website and go to MY LICENSE
Click Active

Step 2: Choose Upgrade

Step 3: Choose a plan – Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime.
For instance, if you select the Lifetime plan, your subscription status would be updated to “Paid” and would never expire.

Adding or Editing Your IPTV Portal
When your application is operational, you will have to log in to your IPTV provider’s portal. Ask your IPTV provider to register your Virtual MAC Address and send you a portal URL with the Virtual MAC Address.
You can add or edit this portal URL in two manners:
Add Portal Directly from the App


Select Name 1
Type in a name for your portal
Select URL 1
Type in the portal URL from your IPTV provider
Press Save, then choose Restart Portal

At the next app startup, the IPTV service should come up, including channel bouquets and EPG data.
Add or Change Portal via Website
If you previously registered your Virtual MAC on the Smart STB website, then you would have filled in the portal URL there.
